1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using signalSAM ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

signalSAM is a software platform that helps government contractors discover and track federal contracting opportunities from SAM.gov and related sources. The Service includes:

  • Aggregation and filtering of government contracting opportunities
  • Relevance scoring based on your company profile
  • Email alerts for matching opportunities
  • Dashboard for opportunity management

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Pricing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is available at signalsam.com/pricing. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.

4.4 Veteran Discount

We offer discounts for verified veteran-owned businesses. Discount eligibility is subject to verification and may be revoked if eligibility cannot be confirmed.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Misrepresent your identity or business certifications

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content created by signalSAM, is protected by intellectual property laws. Government contracting data sourced from public sources (SAM.gov, USASpending, etc.) remains in the public domain.

You retain ownership of your company profile information and any content you submit.

7. Data Accuracy

We strive to provide accurate and timely opportunity data, but we do not guarantee:

  • The completeness or accuracy of opportunity information
  • That all relevant opportunities will be identified
  • The accuracy of relevance scores or recommendations

You should always verify opportunity details directly with the contracting agency before pursuing any opportunity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNALSAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless signalSAM and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
